Richie Phoe is hailed as "Brighton's Lee Scratch Perry” (Rob Da Bank). With his unique downbeat heavy dub reggae style, Richie has carved his niche and received critical acclaim for over the past 15 years. Richie’s debut full length LP, Echo Outernational was released in 2012 and combined digital, soulful and conscious styles into his signature down beat production. Richie has produced such hits as Eye On The Prize with Tippa Irie, his version of the Barrington Levy classic Prison Oval Rock featuring Robert Dallas and the hugely popular instrumental reimagining of the Dr Dre hit Bumpy’s Lament which was recently repressed on 7” vinyl. Taken from the Echo Outernational LP the track Two Tree Island has since been featured on the Handmaid’s Tale TV series, and other tracks from the LP featured on MTV's Dirty Sanchez.


With over 20K monthly listeners on Spotify, Richie is back with his revision of the 2020 Kingston Express album The Foot Of The Mountain. Richie has spent over two years in the studio reinventing the whole album, featuring vocals from Lutan Fyah, Macka B, Earl Sixteen, Horace Andy, Horseman, Cheshire Cat, King Lorenzo, Longfingah, Tom Spirals and Amelia Harmony. Richie has been working with Sticky Joe and Kingston Express since his revision of Raggamuffin Business featuring Senior Wilson (OBF) back in 2017. Richie also collaborated with Kingston Express releasing Kingston Connection In Dub in 2020 which featured Johnny Clarke and Horace Andy. Richie’s full revision LP of The Foot Of The Mountain is out on Friday 26th of May 2023 and will be available on Spotify, Apple Music and BandCamp.
